Grace Anne Helbig was born on the 27th of September 1985 in Woodbury New Jersey. She attended West End Memorial Elementary School before moving on to Gateway Regional High School, both in Woodbury Heights. In high school, Helbig was an excellent student and athlete. She won medals in track and pole vault and earned a full ride scholarship to college. Between 2003 and 2007, Helbig attended Ramapo College in New Jersey where she continued her brilliant ways.
