The pop singer was born as Kelsea Nicole Ballerini, on September 12, 1993, in Knoxville, Tennessee and is the only child of her parents. Her father, Ed worked as a sales manager for a country-music radio station while her mom, Carla worked in a publishing firm. She is an American and is of Italian and English ancestry.
